A huge advantage to being connected with other Classes is having the opportunity to learn from one another.
In this post, we would like to feature the work of Martin Mora as the new Central California Classis Apostolic Regional Missionary (ARM), who has been given the joy and responsibility of empowering Hispanic churches and church plants.
In his words, here’s a short description of his responsibilities:
As you may know, I have accepted the invitation to collaborate with our Classis as Apostolic Regional Missionary (ARM). This position has been created with big goals in mind! It is an honor to be asked to participated in this capacity. I ask you to pray for me as I grow and learn about this position. Some of my responsibilities are:
To get to know and work closely with the existing Hispanic churches and church plants in the Classis, to help them become thriving and multiplying congregations.
Help to plant Spanish, Bilingual and third generation English speaking Hispanic churches in our region.
Cultivate networks of relationships among healthy Hispanic churches that may benefit from affiliation with the Central California Classis.
Identify, equip and release potential church planters. To accomplish this, I will be contacting our churches, Christian colleges and pastor friends from other churches.
Connect with prayer teams in our Classis and invite them to pray on regular basis for our church plant movement
